Bernell Guthmiller - Original owner that has been involved with Signal Electric from
its inception. Originally Bernell's position with the company was estimating and
managing all projects at Signal. In 1989, he became president of Signal Electric Inc.
Jerry Vosberg - Manages the day to day operations of Signal Electric, Inc., having
joined the company in 1985. He has over 20 years of financial and operations
management in the construction industry. Jerry was promoted to Vice President in 1992.
Jerry has received degrees from Whitworth College in accounting and business
administration.
Kelvin Fraser - Started in the electrical trade in 1975 at JM Perry Trade School. He
received his Washington Statejoumeymen's license in 1979. In 1994 he received his
Washington state electrical administrators license. Kelvin began his career with Signal
Electric, Inc. in 1989 as a journeyman electrician installing traffic signals, street lighting
and ITS. In 1998 he became a foreman overseeing numerous traffic signals, street
lighting and ITS projects for local cities, and counties, as well as the Washington State
Department of Transportation. In 2007 Kelvin became project manager and estimator for
Signal Electric.
Gordon St Peter - Began his career with Signal Electric, Inc. in 1996. After
demonstrating excellent leadership skills he was promoted to Superintendent in early
2008. His knowledge and skills have been paramount in many traffic signal, lighting and
fiber optic projects in Washington State. Gordon was the principal person on the multimillion
dollar 1-90 and Sunset project in Issaquah for the Department of Transportation.
Jon Mogensen - Started his career with Signal Electric, Inc. in 1985. He was promoted
to Superintendent in 1999. His expert guidance has been provided in the construction of
traffic signals and street lighting systems throughout Washington State. He has been
involved in microwave systems, signal systems and fiber optic systems. Jon was a key
person managing the multi million dollar fiber optic installation of SR 167 for the
Washington State Department of Transportation.
Art Jensven - joined Signal Electric November 1994 as a purchasing agent. Previous to
that Art worked for several electrical contractors as purchasing agent/warehouse
inventory manager. Art was promoted to corporate purchasing manager in 1996 and has
held that position since then.
Sean Wood – Joined Signal Electric in January of 2009 as ITS Lead. He has 8 years of communications and project management experience. He is specialized in Fiber optic installation, design and has 4 years of ITS project experience. Sean was extensively involved in the placement, splicing, testing of the fiber optics and installation of the communications electronics for the Hot Lanes Pilot Project.
Kyle Cramer – Joined Signal Electric in February 2009 as a Project Manager/Estimator. Previous to that Kyle worked as a Project Engineer in the commercial electrical field. Kyle graduated from the University of Washington Construction Management Certificate Program in June of 2008.
